About | You are the universe in ecstatic motion – Rumi
Rachana found yoga when she started to focus on her health and wellness as a whole – trying many movement based modalities – yoga was the only one that stuck. She explored various styles over more than 8 years – hatha, power, dharma yoga, ashtanga, and even aerial yoga but it wasn’t until she discovered meditation, vinyasa flows and yin yoga she found her calling. Being hypermobile, it changed her perspective and mindset surrounding health and physical movement – and that every body is unique, something she is mindful of in each session (either group settings or one on one private sessions), approaching a balance between effort and surrender, ease and balance.
As she dove deeper in the yogic philosophy and incorporated yoga as a way of life for inner peace and healing, she passionately embarked on over 300 hours of training, certified in vinyasa, yin yoga and meditation, with elements of trauma sensitive training, and currently diving deeper into Yoga Nidra.
She shares her dharma as Holding Space Ke (on facebook and instagram), and reminds us that Yoga teaches us to come back to ourselves, sit still within and find a sense of peace and balance as we go forward in life. She is also a certified Reiki II practitioner, having found this beautiful and spiritual ancient Japanese healing art beneficial in her own life and decided to share this practice as a form of alternate healing for those looking for a holistic approach by connecting with their own healing energy to promote inner balance and harmony.
She loves the fact that yoga in all its various facets and modalities is for every single person, regardless of their journey in life. Being able to hold space in yoga class and through Reiki sessions as people come as they are, reflect on their inner selves, find space to be a little more at peace – and witness them taking their yoga off the mats too is a joy and a gift that keeps on giving!

Practice Description | Through yoga classes and workshops she holds space for you with a soulful and functional approach to class (yin yoga and meditation and vinyasa flow sessions) – including meditations, breathing, and purpose based movement infusing yogic philosophy and mindfulness within and this is themed in every one of her sessions in a fun and creative way. As a Reiki practitioner, she understands that everyone has the ability to connect with their own healing energy and use it to strengthen energy in themselves. It is believed that a person’s ki or energy should be strong and free flowing. When this is true a person’s mind and body is in a positive state of health and balance. When the energy is weak or blocked, it could lead to symptoms of physical or emotional imbalance. Reiki comes from the word Rei – meaning Universal life and Ki – meaning energy. It is a subtle and effective form of energy work using spiritually guided life force energy. All living beings have this life force energy running through them. Come and try a session of Reiki as it is a great tool for stress reduction, promotes relaxation and increase energy and mental clarity. It is also known to aid in balancing the mind – body – spirit connection, help improve sleep and clear stagnant energy within the body, leaving you feeling energized and rejuvenated.
