Zochi Young: Master Teacher, Author, Wellness Architect, African Futurist, and Founder of Tenesu™ (an African based restorative & holistic wellness communities)
Zochi is a Taiji master teacher, using holistic and evidence based modalities to create a transformative container for experiential learning. His kinesthetic movement praxis, mental affirmations, and real life practicums assist the learner to easily bridge the ancient teachings and principles to address the needs and challenges of our contemporary society. This contemplative approach is designed to assist in balancing the individual holistically to; elevate chronic diseases, reduce stress and trauma, enhance overall wellbeing, navigate conflict, and to enrich relational connections with oneself, others, and the universe.
He is an active practitioner and teacher of various healing arts such as; Taiji, Qigong, Smai Tawi – Kemetic Yoga, Somatic Healing, Transformative Meditation, Acupressure, Acupuncture (using NADA protocol), and Tuina, – as well as, being proficient in several martial disciplines. Zochi has studied, practiced and enhanced his craft for over four decades as an integrative and restorative practice.
Zochi is a certified teacher/facilitator in Trauma & Healing informed methodologies, Corporate and Community Wellness, Conflict Resolution, Non-Violent Communications, Leadership Embodiment, Executive/Personal Defense & Wellness and holds Black Belts in Tumfo Tu/Takemusu Aikido. He is also a certified Acu Detox and Therapeutic Massage Specialist.
